Family violence remains a critical issue in 2024, affecting individuals and communities worldwide. This pervasive problem encompasses a range of abusive behaviours, including physical, emotional, and psychological harm within family dynamics.
On Saturday, 7 September 2024 we hosted our first EMDRAA Professional Development Day ‘Responding to Family Violence’ – Complex Cases. Our professional day event aimed to spotlight the intersection of family violence and EMDR therapy. The day featured presentations from members of our EMDR community, each including a case study and allocated time for questions.
Thank you to all the speakers for being involved in this day The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees highlighting how impactful and relevant the speakers presentations were.
