Dr Sarah Schubert

Accredited as an EMDRAA Trainer and Consultant

Sarah is a clinical psychologist and EMDRAA accredited Trainer who specialises in the treatment of trauma across the lifespan. She is published in the area of EMDR and trauma therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, and brings experience across government, private, and NGO sectors.

Sarah is an editor for the Oxford Handbook of EMDR Therapy, she has contributed to the ISTSS (2020) international guidelines for PTSD, is an editor for the Journal of EMDR Practice and Research, and a contributing author to the EMDR textbook (Shapiro, 2018).

Her approach to healing in therapy reflects a strong grounding in theory combined with flexibility in practice. She integrates mind and body therapeutic approaches with authenticity and compassion.
With a home in Perth, an impressive garden, and being a mum of three – I look forward to working with EMDRAA to strengthen our EMDR community with care.
