Tiffany Valente is a Clinical Psychologist and founder of The Integration Space, an online psychology practice providing EMDR therapy, trauma therapy, and evidence-based psychological treatment to adults throughout Australia.
As an EMDR psychologist, Tiffany works with adults experiencing complex trauma, complex PTSD (C-PTSD), PTSD, attachment trauma, anxiety, dissociation, grief, relationship difficulties, and the lasting effects of childhood adversity. She also has a special interest in supporting autistic and ADHD adults, providing neuroaffirming therapy that recognises neurodivergence as a difference rather than a deficit.
Tiffany's therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, attachment-informed and neuroaffirming, integrating Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting. She is Level 2 trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and draws on this model alongside EMDR to help clients understand and work compassionately with the different parts of themselves. This integration is particularly valuable when working with complex trauma, developmental trauma, attachment wounds, dissociation, chronic shame and longstanding emotional patterns.
Many of the people Tiffany works with have spent years understanding why they feel the way they do, yet continue to feel emotionally stuck. Her focus is helping clients move beyond insight by working directly with the nervous system and the emotional networks that continue to hold past experiences in the present.
Tiffany has particular interests in developmental trauma, childhood emotional neglect, attachment difficulties, relationship trauma, obsessive-compulsive presentations, perfectionism, emotional dysregulation, and supporting autistic and ADHD adults who have experienced trauma, masking, burnout, or chronic feelings of being misunderstood.
All appointments are provided via secure online telehealth, allowing adults throughout Australia to access specialised online EMDR therapy, Brainspotting, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) regardless of where they live.
Tiffany is committed to ongoing professional development and is a member of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAAâ„¢), the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD), and the Jung Society of South Australia. Her practice is grounded in current research while recognising that meaningful healing occurs through a safe therapeutic relationship, curiosity, compassion and deep emotional processing.
