    • Hi, I’m Anna-Michele — but please call me Anna (she/her/ally). I am a person of colour, a migrant woman, variably abled, and proud to live and work on Whadjuk Noongar lands in Perth, Western Australia.

I’m a senior psychologist with over 20 years of experience (yes, showing my age there) and have worked across various fields and workplaces. I am an EMDR practitioner, consultant, and the first EMDRAA™-accredited trainer of Colour. Over the course of my career, I’ve been privileged to witness the profound impact that EMDR can have in helping people move beyond trauma and reconnect with themselves and their world. And I now have the privilege of being able to teach and consult with therapists on their EMDR journey.

My approach is always to see and support the individual, not just the diagnosis. I’m passionate about working with adults from all walks of life, with a particular interest in culture, dissociation, identity, neuro-affirming practices, the intersectionality of marginalisation, childhood adverse experiences and complex trauma. I value working with and within culture, and I take pride in creating a space that is open, inclusive, and tailored to each person’s needs and strengths.

In my spare time you will see me travelling, camping, walking in nature and exploring people and places. I never far from my planners, journal, fountain pens and water colours and if I can my old pup and family are with me on my adventures.

I am looking forward to walking alongside you on your EMDR journey.
